Introduction to Cave Diving
Introductory Cave Diver
This class is an introduction to cave diving. With this certification divers will be qualified to enter the cave environment while remaining on the mainline of the cave. This class will focus on team procedures, controlled buoyancy skills, using reels, proper equipment applications and gas management.
Must be Cavern certified and Deep Diver certified, at least 15 years of age. Course consists of one lecture, one land-line class, confined water class and a minimum of four dives.
$700.00 course fee includes semi-private instruction, certification costs, study materials, IANTD training manual and lectures. Park fee's and gas fills are extra.
Dive gear required: standard dual tank configuration, 7' primary regulator hose, primary reel ( 400' ), safety reel ( 150' ), one primary light and two backup lights.
