Dan Gowen
Dan has been free diving most of his life. After learning SCUBA diving in Florida in1991, he dove in disparate, off-beat, and sometimes exotic locations around Africa and the Middle East; wherever his professional work took him. Since Dan had spent much of his professional time teaching, it was natural for him to start teaching diving. So, in began his professional career in diving. Since then he has taught with IANTD, PADI, SDI, and SSI. Dan also believes continuing his own education and has begun learning rebreather diving, a technique that he sees as the future of SCUBA diving. Currently, Dan is teaching in IANTD and PADI courses in Florida, the Dominican Republic, and Venezuela. IANTD Instructor # 7277, PADI # 196229. Ratings include:
